What does one say about one-self in a public space? I just take great delight in being around people and everything visual it's occurring in front of me. It's the love building and making things, and the feedback in a team environment provides that keeps things humming.
When making, I do not always think of images as photographs. Some are more photo, some very graphic and some are more like drawings. The composition for me must be strong. The line, color and context should have a stable yet dynamic feeling. The painter John Marin was quoted "I want my paintings to have the balance of a flying squirrel". In many ways I still feel like a printmaker, adding layers to enhance what I see and whats not there for the sake of contrast and composition.
Good subject matter never hurts.
